1/1
Fat Biking, Snowshoeing, Dog Sledding
-
Do not ride, sled, or walk on classic tracks.
-
Use the firmest part of the track or stay off the groomed trail.
-
Allow two hours for the track to set up after grooming and before riding or walking.
-
Consider donating money for trail grooming.
-
Make sure you have enough floatation that you can travel over snow without leaving a rut or imprint deeper than one inch. Post-holing and other tracks can impact the skiing for weeks.
-
Wide tires — deep snow coverage may require tires wider than 3.5 inches.
-
Yield to all other users when riding.
